Responsibilities
- Operate industrial vacuums and remove debris from work areas as required.
- Make adjustments and minor repairs to HVAC, plumbing, ventilation, and electrical systems; contact trades for major repairs.
- Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
- Perform minor appliance repairs and safety and security checks.
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies.
- Perform painting, drywall repair, and other routine maintenance tasks.
- Help other departments when needed for smooth operations.
- Follow hotel policies and maintain a confidential, secure work area.
Requirements
- General maintenance and repair skills required.
- Ability to work independently with sound judgment.
- Experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or HVAC is an asset.
- Valid driver's licence may be required for some locations.
