Responsibilities

  • Clean and prepare guest rooms before, during, and after guest stays.
  • Vacuum, clean, polish, and dust guest rooms and public areas including washrooms.
  • Make beds and change sheets according to hotel policy.
  • Remove and replace used towels; stock glassware, snacks, beverages, and complimentary toiletries.
  • Clear trash and used food service items from rooms.
  • Prepare housekeeping carts with linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities.
  • Observe room condition and complete laundry duties when needed.
  • Notify management or maintenance when items are not functioning correctly.
  • Follow hotel policies and maintain a confidential, secure work area.

Requirements

  • Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently on a room schedule.
  • Physical ability for lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Training provided for candidates new to housekeeping.
  • Daytime and weekend availability may be required.
