Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest rooms before, during, and after guest stays.
- Vacuum, clean, polish, and dust guest rooms and public areas including washrooms.
- Make beds and change sheets according to hotel policy.
- Remove and replace used towels; stock glassware, snacks, beverages, and complimentary toiletries.
- Clear trash and used food service items from rooms.
- Prepare housekeeping carts with linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities.
- Observe room condition and complete laundry duties when needed.
- Notify management or maintenance when items are not functioning correctly.
- Follow hotel policies and maintain a confidential, secure work area.
Requirements
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently on a room schedule.
- Physical ability for lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Training provided for candidates new to housekeeping.
- Daytime and weekend availability may be required.
